William H. Swan, 88, born in Glen Aubrey, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. He was a graduate of Whitney Point High School, Morrisville College and manager at IBM Homestead. William was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth, Sr. and Eleanor Brown Swan, brothers, Kenneth Jr. and Gary Swan. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 67 years, sister, Loretta Thayer, brother, Dale (Rochelle) Swan, sister-in-law Audrey Swan, children; Debra (Craig) Abbey, Cathleen (Daniel) Piatt, David (Joan) Daniel, Robert (Mary Ann), 8 Grandchildren; Jennifer (Phil) Metcalf, Beth (Mike) Burleigh, April Stoeckel, Brandon Stoeckel, Justin (Jennifer) Swan, Heather Orr, Ashley Piatt, Megan Kimble, and 14 Great-Grandchildren. William was a member of the Whitney Point United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Sunset Memorial Services, 2659 Main Street, Whitney Point, NY from 5-7 PM and Friday, June 17, 2022 at Whitney Point United Methodist Church, 7311 Collins Street, Whitney Point, NY from 10-11 AM until service time at 11 AM with Pastor Amy Winnie officiating. Burial will be in Glen Aubrey Cemetery.
