Virginia J. Hill, a lifelong resident of Whitney Point, passed on to a beautiful after life on January 29 at age 84. Virginia lived all of her life on the Hill family farm on Rt. 26 and was a devoted employee of the Whitney Point School District for about 50 years. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Talmadge and Mabel (Lewis) Hill; her brother, Richard and her sister Marie. Also having lived on the farm and pre-deceasing Virginia were her grandparents; Newt and Lib (Elizabeth) Lewis. Because of the current health concerns, there will be no formal funeral service but will be a burial at the Glen Aubrey Cemetery on Monday, February 8th at 11:00 AM. Friends are invited to attend. A more formal service in memory of Virginia will be held later in the year at her church- Mary A. Taylor, Pastor.
