Uadia G. Ballard

Uadia Genevieve Ballard, 101, daughter of Hiram and Hazel Brown passed peacefully at home into the arms of her heavenly father on Sunday, July 11th.  She has reunited with her husband of 52 years, Arthur Ballard and her son, Robert Ballard. Uadia is survived by her children, Joan and Alton Keller, Jerry and Marge Ballard, Barbara and Richard James, Kathy Barrow, David and Joyce Ballard, Terri Burlingame, Nancy and Billy Bledsoe, Paul and Sherry Ballard.  She is also survived by her daughter in laws, Pat Ballard, and Connie Ladue, 28 grandchildren, 68 great grandchildren, and 20 great-great grandchildren.  Uadia shared many memorable times; deer hunting with her family, square dancing, and traveling with her husband on their Honda Goldwing. She also enjoyed her weekly outings with her dear friend Dottie.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to audio books.  She was a fierce competitor in her daily game of “ words with friends”.  Uadia was a member of the United Methodist Church where she faithfully served her Lord and Savior.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 3 PM until service time at 5 PM from Sunset Memorial Services, 2659 Main Street, Whitney Point, NY.  In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Whitney Point Food Bank.  Online condolences can be made at WWW.SUNSETMEMORIALSERVICES.COM.
