Thomas J. Robins
March 3, 1950 – July 9, 2025
Thomas J. Robins, 75 of Binghamton NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 9,
2025.
Born on March 3, 1950, Tom graduated from Whitney Point High School and Broome
Community College. He proudly served in the US National Guard before beginning a 30 year
career at IBM, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Tom was deeply involved in his community and was a member of numerous organizations,
including the Eagles in Johnson City, the NRA, VFW Sebastian in Florida, American Legion Post
1149 in Hillcrest, the Oneida Lake Association, the Legion Riders, and the Durhan Veterans Club.
He was predeceased by his parents, Esther and Wilbur Robins.
Tom is survived by his son JC (Tracy) Robins; his devoted partner of 46 years; Audrey De Paolo
and her children; his sister Donna (Harold) Kinter, his brother Woodruff (Woody) and his
partner Diane. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, as well
as his beloved cat, Snuggles.
A true outdoorsman, Tom was happiest fishing and camping on Oneida Lake, hunting in the
winter, and riding his Harley. He loved traveling, especially to Florida and Ocean City, Maryland
making many friends along the way.
Upon Tom’s request there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be
made in his memory to organizations supporting military veterans.
