Thomas J. Gumaer

Thomas (Goop) James Gumaer of Whitney Point, NY born April 25th, 1953, and passed away due to ongoing medical complications on February 11th, 2022, at Wilson Hospital at the age of 68. He was predeceased by his parents Glenn and Eleanor Bouton Gumaer; sister Glenda and brother Timothy; Grandson Hayden Michael Gumaer. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Deborah Gumaer. Nine children and spouses; Kimberly (Carl) Grover, Hollie Gumaer, Michael Gumaer, Dustin (Cathy) Armondi, Jennielou (Steven Danaher) Gumaer, Stephen Gumaer, Nitasha Gumaer, Nichole Gumaer, Stacey Gumaer and his adopted daughter Nicole Shurtleff; his grandchildren Amjo, Sarah, Jessica, Nick, Roy (Maren) Eherts, Graisen, Brock, Hadley, Owen, Kaitlyn, Kaleb, Karter, Kayden, Faith, Emily, Illyanna, Carson, and Maximus; Eight great grandchildren; Two brothers and sister in-laws; Richard and K Gumaer, Peter and LeAnn Gumaer; nephew Mark (Kimberly) Scarlett; His cousin and best friend Dennis and Mary Edwards.

Tom was a retired truck driver he worked for many companies and traveled all over the USA. Tom loved to be outside whether he was cooking out, working on something and just being with family and friends. He loved watching WWE wrestling on Monday’s nights. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
