Sylvia J. Riley

Sylvia Jean Riley, age 59, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Born on August 3, 1966, Sylvia was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her beloved husband of many years, Duane Riley Sr., and their three children: Gloria, Duane Jr., and Trisha. Sylvia’s love for children was evident in the special bond she shared with her grandchildren: Natalie, Jace, Damian, Brooke, and Dakota.

Sylvia will be remembered for her generous heart, her deep affection for horses, and her passion for flowers. Her spirit and love will live on in the memories of those who knew her.

A private funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th, followed by public calling hours beginning at 5:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will take place on September 14th at 2:00 PM at the Lisle Fire Station, where friends and family are invited to gather and honor Sylvia’s life.
