Suzanne "Sue" Miller

Suzanne “Sue” Miller, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was born Suzanne Maria Hayes on September 25, 1949. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 12, 2023 at Bridgewater Nursing Home in Binghamton, NY.

Suzanne grew up on the family farm where she learned the value of hard work, family values and a strong belief in the Church. She graduated from Whitney Point High School and then worked at Whitney Point Schools, later retiring from Cornell University. She attended the Center Lisle Congregational Church. She valued her family and spent time with them every chance she got. Suzanne was known for putting everyone else's needs before her own. She also enjoyed being outside in the sunshine, tending to her many flower gardens and watching the butterflies that they would attract.

Suzanne joins her beloved family members who have gone before her; parents Wyona and Charles Hayes Jr., brother Charles Hayes III, brother-in-law Cliff Miller, sisters-in-law Sue Hayes, Steph Miller and Shirley Miller, stepdaughter Tracy Reynolds and many others.

She is survived by her loving husband Kevin Miller, her sons Robert Miller and Kevin (Michelle) Holt, grandchildren Emily Holt and Ashley Holt, sister Pat (Ken) Worden, brothers David Hayes and Brian (Michelle) Hayes, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St Jude's or The Lupus Foundation of America in her Honor.

A Private Service will be held at Center Lisle Cemetary at a later date.
