Sandra Elaine Butler Bliss

Sandra Elaine Butler Bliss of Marathon NY, Passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at the age of 89 with her family by her side.  She was predeceased by her husband, Walter “Skip” Bliss Jr., Parents, John & Midge Bulter, Sister, Barbara Parker, sister-in-law Marilyn "Jeanie" Wagner, brother-in-law Robert Bliss, and son in law Tom Galvin.

She is survived by Daughter Donna V Bliss, Son David (Corey) Bliss; Granddaughters, KayLeigh (Dustin) Contri, And Kaitlyn (Timothy Clemons) Bliss; Great Grandchildren; Kaiden, Kooper, and Emmalynn Cornell: Hailey, Paityn, and Brody Contri; Brother Edward (Fran) Bulter, Sister in Law’s Diane Bliss and Darlene (Mo) Kinner, brother-in-law George Wagner.  And many nieces and nephews.

Sandra was born and raised in Marathon, before retirement she was a postal clerk. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and travelling and spending time in Melbourne Florida for many years.

Services will be held at the Marathon Presbyterian Church in Marathon on April 9th at 3 pm Funeral to follow at 5 pm. Donations in Her Memory can be made to the Marathon Presbyterian Church PO Box 246, Marathon NY 13803.
