Rowena (Rena) Hust, 88, of Whitney Point went to be with her valentine William H. Hust on Wednesday February 14, 2018. She is survived by daughters Peggy (Blaine) Maus, Bobbi Bush; 3 sons, Ron (Helen) Hust, Mark Hust, Brian (Corinne) Hust; 8 grandchildren, Julie, Melissa, Kris, Jen, Jeffrey, Steven, Austin, Brittany, 9 great grandchildren and daughter in law, Renee Hust. She is also survived by a brother, Richard (Audrey) Pitcher, sisters, Norma (Jim) Wilcox, Bernice Payne, brother in law, Harold Hust, sisters in law, Shirley (Bernard) Wade, Claire Davis many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rena is predeceased by her son in law Jerry Bush. She was a member of the Whitney Point United Methodist Church, worked for many years at Barnes Store and volunteered at the American Red Cross. Rena will be remembered for the best macaroni and cheese. The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Services 2659 Main St. Whitney Point, NY Sunday February 18, 2018 from 2 pm until service time at 3 pm. Burial will be in Glen Aubrey Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Whitney Point United Methodist Church or the American Red Cross. Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
