Ronald Gorham, 87, of Nanticoke died with his family at his side on Sat. July 24, 2021 after a short illness. He was predeceased by his parents, Julius and Cora Gorham, brother-in-laws, Calvin Houghton & Fred Zanker. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Liz, his son, Alan Gorham (Donna) and daughter Carol Pribulick (Jim) and Grandchildren; Bob (Courtney), Dan, Tom (Isabelle) Gorham, and Holly Truesdail (Zach). His two sisters, Ruth Houghton and Pat Zanker and a very special nephew, Curt Zanker. A private service was held for the family at his request. He was employed at IBM for 38.5 years as a machinist and retired in 1992. Thereafter, he was known for his love of all things John Deere. He loved to buy, sell, and repair anything green during his retirement when he wasn’t traveling the country. Ron especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, making it a point to attend any and all events they took part in. From microd racing to dance recitals, to little league games, to bowling alleys, he followed his grandkids across state lines to watch them do the things they loved growing up. He was a beloved family member and friend and will be missed deeply by those who knew him.
