Robert “Bob” C. Stalter passed away peacefully, surrounded by his children and family on Saturday, December 13th, 2025. Bob was a son, brother, father, cousin, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his mother, Edna Healy; his sister Angela Healy; his daughter Katelyn Stalter; his son Mathew (Genevieve) Stalter; his aunt Jill (Mike) LaBar; his uncle Jack Breithaupt; his uncle George Breithaupt; cousin Christina LaBar, cousin Greg (Nicole) LaBar, cousin Michael James Breithaupt, and several additional cousins and friends. He is predesceased by his father, Frank Healy; grandmother Mildred Stalter; uncle Ronald Stalter.
Bob had a lifelong love of finding joy in the outdoors and adventure. In the later years, his greatest passion was the art of remote-controlled aviation and automotive engineering through RC vehicles. He was a proud business owner, operating a self-employed construction company and serving the Broome County community with dedication and hard work.
Bob will be remembered for his inflexibility of will, countless moments of laughter through understated wit, the profound pride he held in his daughter, and the many hours exploring trails on four-wheelers/dirt bikes alongside his son. His children will be regarded as his most meaningful legacy.
