Robert E. Leach

 Robert E. Leach, 84, of Whitney Point, NY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2018.  He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Winola (Goodrich) Leach.  He is survived by his 5 children, Marilyn (Leon) Thornton, Ronald (Pat) Leach, Chris (Deb) Leach, James (Bonnie) Leach and Darlene (Bill) Niemann.  He is also survived by his 2 sisters, Joyce Shaver, Janet Ennis,  brother, David Leach,  19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  He graduated from Whitney Point High School, Broome Tech, had a career at IBM and was also a dairy farmer.  He was a lifelong member of the Upper Lisle Baptist Church, serving as Deacon, Trustee, Sunday School teacher and Treasurer. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Upper Lisle Baptist Church, Whitney Point, NY from 11:00 AM until service time at 11:30 AM.  Flowers can be sent to Sunset Memorial Services, 2659 Main Street, Whitney Point, NY 13862 prior to Fridays services.  Burial will be in Upper Lisle Cemetery on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11 AM.  In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Upper Lisle Baptist Church can also be directed through Sunset Memorial Services. Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
