Roanna L. Askew

Roanna Askew, 89, of Marathon passed away on January 9, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband Neil. She is survived by her children; Leanne Askew, of Syracuse, Dennis (Chrissie) Askew, of Cortland, Paul (Leslie) Askew, of Marathon; 5 grandchildren, Alexandra (Ryan), Rachel (Joe), Sara, Jason (Cheyenne), Parker; 2 great-grandchildren, Lucy and Rowan; brother, Gessler (Alice Mae) Arzani several nieces and nephews. Roanna retired from Marathon Central School District after working over 30 years and was an active member of St Stephen’s Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at St Stephen’s Church 12 Academy St. Marathon, NY 13803 Wednesday January 19, 2022 from 11 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen’s Church. Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
