Rita May Young

Rita May Young, 86, of Johnson City formerly of Whitney Point was brought home by the Lord on Tuesday December 29, 2020. She is predeceased by her husband Roger H. Young and daughter Deborah S. Young. She is survived by her children, Loretta A (John) Young-Arndt, Karen M. Young, Alan R (Linda) Young; 9 grandchildren, Steven (Larissa) Barrows, Allison, Wayne, Kayli, Irene, Walter, William, Nicole, Michael; 10 great-grandchildren including Christine, Audrey, Andrew and Aslan; sisters, Patricia A Parenteau, Dawn M. Parenteau, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rita May was a devoted Catholic attending church at St Patrick’s in Whitney Point and St James in Johnson City. She was a Lector, Religious Ed Teacher, Faith Formation, Eucharistic Minister and enjoyed being A Candy Maker at St. James Church. She was also the cofounder at Young Well Drilling, loved her Church, Family and Friends. Private services were held at St Patrick’s Church Whitney Point, NY.
