Raymond T. Meade, 76 of Whitney Point died Sun. Jan. 18, 2026 at his home.  He is survived by his 4 children, Tammy Decker, Afton, Thomas Meade & Danielle McLean, Mrytle Beach, SC, Carrie Latham & Brock Whittaker, Whitney Point, Megan & Matt Fletcher, Bainbridge, 11 grandchildren, Matt & Mitch; Natalie, Ashley, Keegan & Rylee; Billy, Walker & Paisley; Levi & Roman, 3 great grandchildren, a brother & sister-in-law, Richard & Gloria Meade, Ocala, FL, several nieces and nephews and the love of his life, Sharon Furgeson.

He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond F. & Eunice (Lamoree) Meade, 3 brothers, Ernie Giles, Robert Giles & Russell Meade and 2 sisters, Edna Meade & Eunice Walsh.

He was a retired employee of Broome Community College, and a US Navy Veteran.

Ray was an avid golfer, car enthusiast, loved football but most of all, loved his children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of His Life will be announced at a later date by his family.
