Philip Norman Davern, 82, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024. He was predeceased by Andrew and Rena Sliter Davern, sisters Arlene Underwood, Jeannine Cristelli and brother Lawrence Davern. He is survived by his wife, Lynda Witty-Davern, daughters; Carolyn (Douglas) Smith, Deborah (Rick) Gilbert, Pamela (Ron) Rackett, step-son, Michael (Marni Silverstein) Davern, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. Philip was a life member of Marathon Fire Dept., Past Captain of Marathon Emergency Squad, former Trustee of Marathon Village Board, former member of Marathon Village Planning Board, and former member of the Marathon Community Scholarship Committee. The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Services, 2659 Main Street, Whitney Point, NY on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 9:30 AM until service time at 11:30 AM.
