Peggy spent her life as an active member of the fire department and EMT. She was an Ambulance Chief for Blossburg P.A. for many years and a well-known chef at the local pizzeria. She was an active volunteer in her community and always willing to lend a helping hand. Peggy moved back to her hometown in the late 90’s to care for her parents as they aged. She enjoyed woodworking, painting and attending craft fairs with her husband. She liked to play cards and visit with friends and family. Since her husband’s passing, she has enjoyed getting closer to her grandchildren and cherishing all the small moments she was able to be a part of. Those blessed to know her would describe her first as a joker. She always had something funny to say and loved to make people laugh. She was so pleasant to be around and found her joy in bringing joy to others. Peggy had a giving spirit and enjoyed caring for others. She valued the closeness of family and was always willing to lend a tender ear to anyone in need. Her laughter and spirit will truly be missed by those close to her and the community she has been a part of.
By her request, in lieu of services the family will be holding a private celebration of life to share in the lifelong memories she has left behind.
