Michele L Adams, 55, of Friendsville, PA went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 27th. Born to the late Catherine (Eastman) and Kirk Adams, Michele spent her life devoted to caring for others. She spent most of her working years as a teacher, pouring her heart and soul into her lessons, creating curriculum, and loving each child that entered her classroom, while juggling her cherished role as Mom to her son and daughter. She loved having a front row seat to watch her children grow. She sat proudly through every concert, dance recital, honors banquet, theatre production, scout meeting, swim meet, and so much more, cheering her kids on, never missing a single event. She adopted her kids’ friends as her own, and was known as “Mom” to all. Michele always made sure everyone was taken care of, knew they had a safe place to stay at her house, and that no one left hungry. She loved hosting and opening her home to gather people together. She was always happiest with a full house and cooking for a crowd. She loved game shows, cross stitch, playing games with her friends, and snuggling for hours with her beloved cats. Her greatest joy, however, came in loving on her four granddaughters. She delighted in finding special “just because” gifts to make them smile, always made sure the house was stocked with their favorite foods & snacks, and wore the title of Nana as her greatest badge of honor. She will be remembered for her generous and selfless spirit, her timely wit, love for her family, finding joy in cultivating her garden, and her fantastic cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kirk and Cathy (Eastman) Adams and one grandchild. She is survived by her brother, David and his wife Billie, her two children Matthew and his wife Mariah and Danielle and her husband Andrew as well as her four granddaughters- Felicity, Nyla, Chevelle, and Melody.
