Michael J. Kapral III

WHITNEY POINT

Michael J. Kapral III, 68 of Whitney Point, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 of natural causes.

Michael was predeceased by his father Michael J. Kapral, Jr. and mother Mildred Kapral; Sister Barbara A. Hattersley; and great nephew Dustin McCullough.

Michael is survived by his sister Phyllis (Donald) Ketchum; niece Cathy (Randy) McCullough; nephew Michael Hattersley; nieces Lisa Bodnar, and Amy (Vinnie) Polacek; great niece Mindy (Steven) Lacey; great nephews Brody and Colby Polacek.

Michael was a quiet and private man who had a great easy smile.  He was a neatnik and believed everything had its place.  From a young age, he spent many hours fishing.  He was an avid deer hunter loving the outdoors.  He was blessed with many close friends who he hunted with,  played cards with, shot darts with and just enjoyed conversation over a beer.  He was a member of the Whitney Point Sons of The American Legion and a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 3 PM at the Whitney Point St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
