Marilyn B. Craft

Marilyn Banks Craft, 88, from Whitney Point, NY  born on August 7, 1933 in Blakely, Pa went to be with The Lord on March 17, 2022. Marilyn had a long battle with dementia. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald Craft; her parents, Adam and Mary Banks, brother Dr. George (Marion) Banks, sister Hilda (Frank) Kloda, sister Bette (Gary) Coccetti, and grandson Donovan Craft.  Marilyn is survived by her sister Sandra (Richard) Austin; her six children, Susan Burnett (Randy Brofcak), Jill (Frank) Wiley, David Craft, Donald (Karen) Craft Jr., Robert Craft, Wendy (Tom) Brightsen, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marilyn began her career as a secretary for a law firm in Baltimore, MD,  IBM Endicott where she met Don, WPCSD, and finally worked and retired from Broome Community College . She loved kids and found much joy being like a second mother to kids at WPCSD and BCC. She was always cheerful and loved life! There will be a private burial service for family in May.  Donations can be made to the American Legion Auxiliary #974, Whitney Point or the Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org).
