Louis "Lou" M. Hurbis, Sr.

Louis (Lou) M. Hurbis Sr., 52, of Binghamton, NY passed away with daughter Nicole by his side, on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.  Lou is survived by his two children, Louis Hurbis Jr. (Meredith), Nicole Guzman (Dan) and grandchildren Daniel and soon to be baby girl.  Lou also leaves behind mother Charlotte Hurbis, brother Steve Hurbris, two nieces, Holly and Aubrey Hurbis, many friends, and the love of his life, his Sunshine.  Lou is predeceased by father Louis J. Hurbis, Jr. and grandparents.  Lou worked in construction with many wonderful crews all around NY.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his home and riding his Harley, giving his grandson Daniel rides on the big trucks, and spending time with his family and friends with a cold beer in hand.  A Celebration of Life will be held on August 28th, 2021 at 11am at Jack DeNinis Construction at 138 Burr Avenue, Binghamton, NY  13903.  His family invites anyone who knew and loved Lou to attend a casual gathering to celebrate a well-lived life.
