Linda Lou Howland Wescott

Linda L. Howland Wescott, 72, of Lisle, fell into the hands of the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Born January 6, 1947, Linda was predeceased by her parents, Medford and Sylvia Howland of Whitney Point, In-Laws, Nathaniel and Beatrice Wescott of Whitney Point; Brother-in-laws, Gordon Wescott of Lawton, PA; Duane Wescott of Johnson City and Terry Wescott of Whitney Point.  She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Melvin Wescott and 1 son, Alvin (Michelle Micha) Wescott,  grandchildren, Mia Lou Wescott, “the twinkle in Gamma’s eye” and Abigail Frost, of Smithville Flats, Dylan Iversen of Newark Valley and Jake Gabello of Tennessee; 1 sister-in-law, Eloise Wescott of Whitney Point; brother-in-law’s, Kenneth (Lena) Wescott of Hallstead, PA; Roger Wescott of Marathon; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Carol Roadcap of Apalachin and sisters, Jackie and Dianna, Larry (Nancy) Brainard of St. Petersburg, FL. and Lance (Jodee) Merrill of Maine, NY. Linda loved sending time with her grandchildren and always kept them close to her heart. She had a great sense of humor and often carried a smirk on her face. Although Linda missed her cat “Boots”, she will be missed dearly by all those who surrounded her. At the request of the family, there will be no services.
