Kenneth C. Lamb

Kenneth C Lamb formerly of Lisle and Marathon, NY passed away July 18, 2020 at the age of 68.

Ken spent his life in service to his family, church, community and country.  While working and supporting his family Ken earned his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

In service and membership he was an Usher, Youth Leader, Financial Secretary and Deacon at First Baptist Church Marathon, NY, worked and served with Word of Life Youth Ministries. For his community he was the Village Clerk, worked on the Town Zoning Board for Lisle, NY and served on the School Board for Whitney Point School District, NY. Church memberships included First Baptist Church Marathon, NY and most recently New Walk Church in Zephyrhills, FL. When he retired July of 2019 he continued to serve others by volunteering at AdventHealth Hospital in Zephyrhills, FL. Over the years Ken touched countless lives, he will be missed.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Doris Lamb, Grandparents Roy and Gladys Lamb, Lester and Mildred Ketchum.

Ken is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy (Valentine) Lamb, Zephyrhills, FL. Their children, Michelle (Marty) Rood of Zephyrhills FL, Bryan (Kavita) Lamb of Latham, NY, Matthew (Shannon) Lamb of Vestal, NY. Their Grandchildren Shelby Rood, Breanne Rood, Daniel Lamb, Colin Rood, Jakob Lamb, Nathan Lamb and Lucas Lamb. Ken’s siblings, Cheryl Lamb of Vestal, NY, Tom (Nikki) Lamb of Lisle, NY and Tim (Christine) Lamb of Binghamton, NY. Many In-laws, Nieces and Nephews. 

There will be a Celebration of Ken’s life on Saturday October 17th at First Baptist Church, Marathon, NY.  Calling hours from 11am to 12 noon. Memorial Service will follow.
