Kathryn A. Manasse, 75, Of Whitney Point Was A True Lady, Respected And Loved By So Many. Kathy Was The Hardest Working Individual You Will Ever Meet, Never Skipping A Beat. She Did Everything For Everyone Else, Made It Look Seamless And Took Pride In Everything She Did. Kathy Was Predeceased By Mel, The Love Of Her Life & Husband Of 37 Years; Parents: Gerald & Louise Livermore; Brother: Kenneth Livermore; Sister In Law: Leonore Manasse; She Leaves Behind, To Carry On Traditions, Her Children: Leslie Manasse, Matthew & Nicole Manasse, Sarah Manasse, and Anita & Tom Buchman; Grandchildren: Jessica McKittrick (Drew McNeill), Greyson & Griffin Manasse, Adeline Manasse & Solara Buchman; Great-Grandchildren; Cooper McKittrick & Kadi McNeill; Brother: Kevin Livermore; Brother In Law: Charles Manasse; As Well As Family, Friends & So Many Others;
Kathy Took Great Pride In Her Small Hometown Of Cincinnatus and Graduated From Cincinnatus Central School District In 1965. She Continued With Her Schooling At Ithaca College School Of Nursing To Earn Her Degree As A Licensed Practical Nurse, Working At Norwich Hospital And Then Smith Corona. Though She Only Practiced Nursing A Few Years, She Kept Her Nursing License Active For Over 35 Years, In Case The Need For Her Services Ever Arose. Kathy Married Her Husband Mel In 1977, and Moved To Whitney Point. Together They Worked Hard To Become Successful And Make A Name For Their Family. They Worked Countless Hours, Together With Their Children, Building Mel Manasse & Son Auctioneers, One Of The Most Respected Auction Companies In NYS. Kathy Was The Backbone To The Family Auction Company And Did Everything With Class. She Accomplished The Work Of 15 People All Herself, And Was The Most Selfless Individual You Would Ever Meet. She Liked Being In The Background And Left Unnoticed, But It’s Hard To Not Notice The True Greatness She Was Made Of! Kathy Had A Love For The Auction Business and Was Inducted In To The New York State Auctioneers Association Hall Of Fame, And Took Great Pride In The Association - Holding Many Offices, And Raising Countless Dollars With Her Amazing Tole Painting Abilities.
Kathy’s Greatest Joy Was Her Amazing Family & Family-Friends, And Was A Mom To All - Young & Old. Kathy Especially Loved And Adored Her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren To A Level That Was Like No Other. Kathy Touched The Lives Of So Many, And Was Respected To The Utmost Level Both Personally And Professionally; She Was Small In Stature, But Larger Than Life Itself, Known Within The Family As Sportsie, For The Known Fact That She Was Always A Good Sport. Kathy Will Be Missed, But Will Be Celebrated Just As Much Because We Are All Better In Life Having Known This Exceptional Woman!
Kathy’s Family Will Receive Friends On Tuesday, September 6, 2022 From 3PM-6PM At Temple Israel, 4737 Deerfield Place, Vestal, NY. Graveside Funeral Services Will Be Held On Wednesday, September 7, 2022 At 10:00AM At Temple Israel Riverside Cemetery, 719 Conklin Road, Binghamton, NY.
