Joyce A. Butts

Joyce A Butts, 85, of Killawog went to be with her Lord and parents on June 9, 2022. She is survived by he loving children; Julie (Don) Pendell, Douglas Spicer, Lori (Orin) Meyer, Robert (Cindi) Spicer, Patricia (Tim) Shepard, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also survived
by sister, Betty Moscrip, brothers Paul (Donna) Barrows, and Carl (Pam) Barrows, several nieces and nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Nellie Barrows, her husband Stanley Butts, a brother-in-law Ivan Moscrip, a daughter-in-law Carla Spicer, and her granddaughter Kelcie Spicer. Joyce worked at Smith-Corona for many years and then retired from the Three Bear Inn. She was a member of the Killawog Fire Company Auxiliary for 27 years, and held the position of Vice President for most of those year. She was also a long time member of the Killawog Methodist Church. Her passion was to be involved in the Auxiliary helping with cooking duties, fund raisers ,parades and helping others in general. She enjoyed time spent with her children, grand children and great grand children. The family will receive friends at the Killawog Methodist Church on Monday, June 20,2022 from Noon til service time a 1 PM , with Pastor Mary Ann Taylor officiating.
