Jean Hibbard

Jean Hibbard, Born September 20th, 1930 joined her husband in heaven May 16th, 2025.  She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob), parents Leonard and Lucy Mae Lewis, and her brother Leonard Lewis.  She is survived by her children Christine (Wally) Smith, Thomas (Jannette) Hibbard, Lane (Carol) Hibbard, Jim (Sheila) Hibbard, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.  Jean was proud of her great family and friends.  She was an active member of the Methodist Church in Whitney Point for many years of her life singing in the choir.  She enjoyed going to the senior center playing bingo and other games and socializing with her friends there.  The family would like to thank the local community for always watching out for and assisting her in recent years.  She truly loved this.  The family will be holding a remembrance gathering Saturday August 9, 2025 from 1-4pm at Whitney Point United Methodist Church. Donations in her memory can be made to the Whitney Point Methodist Church or the Northern Broome Senior Center.
