James H. Stahl

James H. Stahl, 86, of Triangle, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife RuthAnn (Mead) and daughter Kelly Lindow. Also, sisters Marie, Grace, June, Jane and Gail and his brother Jack. He is survived by three children, Jim (Sherry) Stahl, Terri (Ron) Sells, Bob (Marcia) Stahl. Eleven grandchildren, Nick, Christy (Josh), Stephanie (Tyler), Cathy, Trey (Kyra), Aaron, Cameron (Tatyana), Bobby (Amanda), Todd, Casey (Dave), Cody (Becca). Three great grandchildren, Hailey, Landon and Cole. Brother, Rex (Judy) Stahl, sisters, Irene Foster and Jean Pelham.

Jim graduated from Whitney Point School. He served in the US Army & Reserves from 1958 to 1964. Married to RuthAnn for 31 years till her passing in 1993. Retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 112. Jim was a loving father and grandfather, an avid hunter and enjoyed gardening, gathering firewood, NASCAR cookouts, watching all sports, doing various projects around the house and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed watching the weather!! He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Whitney Point. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thurs. at 12 Noon at St. Patrick’s Church, Whitney Point.  Burial will be in South Street Cemetery, Triangle.  The family will receive friends at St. Patrick’s Church, Whitney Point on Thurs. from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon prior to Mass.  Donations can be made to the Triangle Volunteer Fire Company 3621 NY Route 206 Whitney Point, NY 13862.  Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
