Howard J. Dennison, 75, of Cortland formerly of Marathon passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2020. He is predeceased by his son Howard J. Dennison II and his sister Kathleen LaValla Grande. He was born to Marian Lawler Rehm and Jerome Dennison. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years Kathy; his children, Steven (Jennifer) Dennison, Suzanne Dennison, Adam (Meghan) Dennison, A precious brand new grand-daughter, Maeve Grace-Anne Dennison, stepfather, William Rehm; sisters and brothers, Carol Reisel, David Slotnick, Stephen Lesnick, Marlynn Mykel, David (Pam) LaValla, Joseph (Linda) LaValla many nieces, nephews and cousins. Howard served in the ARMY National Guard, was a member of the Marathon Lodge #438 F. & A.M., Marathon Lions Club and past president several times, former owner of Marathon Quality Parts & Service NAPA for close to 40 years. He loved and will be missed by many friends and family. At Howard’s request there will be no services held. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
