Holden J. Morsey

Holden James Morsey (Bubba, Holdy-Bugs), age 27 of Marathon, NY passed away Sunday, September 4, 2022. He was a graduate of Marathon Central High School in 2014 and graduated from Associated Training Services in Wisconsin for Crane Operations in 2018. Holden was formerly employed with the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) as a Direct Support Assistant (DSA). He had the biggest heart and was loved by all of his consumers and former coworkers. Holden was a beloved Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandson, Nephew and Friend who loved to entertain. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending quality time with his family and friends. Holden was very loved and cherished by his family and friends. He left a positive impact on many lives and touched the hearts of those around him. Preceded in death by his Grandmother, Christine Morsey, Cousin, David Morsey and Aunt Steffani Abegglen. Holden is survived by his Father and Step Mother, Karl Morsey and Patricia Gardner of Marathon, NY, Mother and Step Father Michelle Morsey and John Leonardo of Syracuse, NY, Sisters, Hayley Morsey and Hana Morsey, Grandparents, Cynthia Harding and Mike Harding, James Morsey and LuAnne Morsey, and Lynne Nye, Uncles, James Morsey ll, Anthony (Butch) Schifilliti, Richard Abegglen and Donnie Taylor, Aunts, Nichole Alvord and Tami Taylor, Cousin, Brook Morsey and many others, Nephew, Lukas Spence and friends. The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Services in Whitney Point, NY 2659 Main St. on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 10am until service time at 12noon.
