Grace Glezen

Grace E. Glezen, 95, of Center Lisle passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.  Grace was a devoted matriarch to her family.  She was an active contributor with everyday farm life while raising her girls.  Her “stitch in time” talents created handmade quilts and wedding gowns to mending farmer jeans and carhardt zippers.  She was a gifted organist and choral leader in the Center Lisle Congregational Church for many years.  She was predeceased by her husband, Bruce, son-in-law, Rance Livingston,  daughter, Donna Jean, parents, Warren & Irene Meaker, siblings, Warren, George, Harold Meaker and Janette Newman.  Grace is survived by her daughters; Marjorie Livingston, Linda (Dr. Doug) Brant, Joan (Joe) Orzo, Brenda (Doug) Tillotson, Carol (Doug) Smith, 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren,  sisters-in-law, Gay Meaker and Wyona Hayes.  Per Grace’s request, a private service will be held.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Center Lisle Congregation Church “Memorial Fund”, 9670 Rt. 79, Lisle, NY    13797.   Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
