Obituary
Glenn E. Simpson, 88, of Glen Aubrey, NY passed away on Tuesday January 24, 2023. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley and daughter Dale Pratt. Glenn is survived by his daughters, Gail (Tom) Drury, Jean (Jim) Hendrick; 6 grandchildren, Nicole Drury, Brandi (Matt) Collins, Jesica (Bill) Kenney, Andrea (Zachary) Stevens, Nathan (Amanda) Pratt, Jamie (Christopher) Terry, 13 great-grandchildren. He was a 72 year member of the Glen Aubrey Fire Department, started driving bus in 1970 and was a custodian at Whitney Point Schools. He worked at the Broome County Fair for many years. Glenn married his wife Shirley September 18, 1954 and was married 62 years prior to her passing March 16, 2016. Special thanks to the Glen Aubrey Fire Department, Great Neighbors, Hospice Nurse May and Aide Cassandra. The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Services LLC 2659 Main St. Whitney Point, NY Saturday February 4, 2023 from 2pm until service time at 4pm with Steve Carter officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Glen Aubrey Fire Department P.O. Box 328 Glen Aubrey, NY 13777 or Allentown Cemetery Association c/o Cassandra Schaffer 329 Front Street Vestal, NY 13850.
