George A. “Butch” McNeill was born January 11, 1946 and died December 14, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife of 46 years, Joyce A. McNeill; brothers, Don and Tom McNeill; sisters, Peggy Green, Trixie Holden, Carol Carley and Joyce MacMyne. He is survived by his children, Mike (Ginger) McNeill, Tim (Kelli) McNeill, Kathy (Dave) Peters and Sean McNeill; 14 grandchildren, Shane (Jaye), Monica, Casey, Julie, Laurie, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Andrew, Alec, Haley, Ciara, Noah and Lily; 4 great-grandchildren, Avery, Bailey, Lainey and Braydin; siblings, Mickey (Sherry) McNeill and Mary Messina, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Butch was a huge Yankees fan, avid bowler, hunter and fisherman who always had a cup of coffee in his hand. He enjoyed attending all of his children and grandchildren’s sporting events and camps. He was an amazing coach and took great pride in having his wife and all 4 children inducted in the STUSBC Hall of Fame. Butch was a quite laid-back person and a big practical joker. Though he will be greatly missed, there is comfort in knowing he is now reunited with the love of his life, Joyce. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
