GEOFFREY WARREN MYERS

Geoffrey W Myers 70, of Castle Creek passed away on April 12, 2020 at his home.       

Geoffrey was born on March 19,1950 in Endicott, New York and was a lifetime resident of Broome County.  He worked for the City of Binghamton for 30 years before retiring in 2005. 

Geoffrey is survived by his wife of 49 years Rita their 5 children Ritica (Jason) Sturdevant, Geoffrey Myers, Rebecca (Steven) Spoonhower, Jamie (Ronald) Quackenbush, and Michelle Myers.  His 3 brothers Alan (Christine) Myers, Hugh Myers, and Wayne Myers his 4 sisters Sherry Hartman, Judy (Tom) Sherman, Sandy Slater, Vicky Myers. His sister’s in-law Nancy, Norma, and Jeannette and many nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved very much.

Geoffrey is preceded by his father and mother Hugh and Marilyn Myers and his father in-law and mother in-law Leon and Dorothy Hanyon and his sister Janet Huckenberry.

Geoffrey was an amazing “grandpa”, “little papa” to his 7 grandchildren Donovan, Brianna, Andrew, Cassidy, Ashlee, Elizabeth, and Alice whom he loved with all his heart.  They were the light of his life and he was so proud of each one of them.  The grin he got when he was talking (bragging) about one of them was the best smile you could ever imagined. 

There won’t be a day that goes by that you won’t be missed.  Your passing left a huge hole in our hearts and our comfort is knowing that you are at peace.  Dad, we love you and you are and will always be in our thoughts and hearts.  We love you to the moon and back dad forever and always.
