She was an accomplished homemaker and helpmate extraordinaire. Her love for her family knew no bounds. She had worked as a bookkeeper in Whitney Pt and for Agway in Greene and always kept her checkbook balanced.
She lived her faith in service to her church as treasurer at Triangle Methodist Church for 20 years and cooking for the women’s society community dinners. She was a loyal friend and enjoyed weekly pinochle and bridge card games until the Covid interruption. For 20 years she was a snowbird and became a shuffleboard queen in Lakeland, Florida.
Lately she enjoyed sewing dresses for international children at the Whitney Pt Methodist Church. She supported a patriotic nation. She was a past president of the George F. Riordan Post 974 American Legion Auxiliary. She expressed humble and constant gratitude for friends and neighbors who helped keep her in her home, especially Linda, Laurel, Heather, Dan, Dan N, Victoria, Katie, Sandy, and special nurse Mae. Funeral Services will be held Saturday September 4, 2021 at 3pm at the Whitney Point United Methodist Church. Due to COVID 19 masks must be worn at the family's request.
