Dorothy K. Bailey

Dorothy “Dot” Bailey 76 of Lisle, N.Y. passed away on July 30, 2024, at home with her daughter by her side.  Dot was predeceased by her husband John “Herb” Bailey in 2016 and her son John “JB” Bailey in 2013.  She is survived by her beloved pug Missy, daughter Tammy Bailey (Joe Hektor), sister Jean Hoople, brother and sister-in-law Frank and Sandi Kemak, and “granddaughters” Katelin (Tyler), Leah (Mike), and Gracie.  Dot battled stage 4 cancer for over a year and did it her way maintaining her quality of life for the most part until the last few months.  Services will be at the convenience of the family. Special thank you to Tia and Herm Slack, Diane Zeeuw, Sue Potter, Rick Pond, Tom Kemak, Tom Connolly, and her Lourdes/Guthrie Hospice team Lisa, Mckayla, and Carly for their kindness and care of Dot.  In Dot’s memory please perform a random act of kindness.
