Dennis G. Cavanaugh

Dennis G. Cavanaugh, 76, of Binghamton, NY passed away at home on Wednesday January 27, 2021. He was predeceased by his mother Agnes Cavanaugh and brother Thomas Cavanaugh. He is survived by his brother Douglas (Jeanine) Cavanaugh; 2 nieces, Kathleen (Walter) Caroompas, Kimberly (Robby) Lowe, nephew, Douglas Cavanaugh Jr., 6 great nieces and nephews. Dennis graduated from St. Paul’s School, served in the US ARMY AIR FORCE as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, started employment as a Union Carpenter, worked at Emery Air Freight, Broome County Airport and the Town of Chenango Code Enforcement Dept. where he retired from. He enjoyed being Club Champion at Chenango State Park in 1989. Private burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery Johnson City, NY. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Dennis’s name to a local Animal Shelter.
