David J. Toton, 50, of Endicott, NY passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2018, doing what he loved…snowmobiling.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Nadine, and his sons Sam Toton and Cole Brigode. Dave is also survived by his parents, Thomas and Joyce Toton; mother-in-law Theresa Underwood; sister Doreen (Jim) Kuzma, brother Thomas (Linda) Toton, Jr., and sister Mary (Gregg) Castaldo, brother-in-law Mike Olivieri; and many nieces, nephews, family, friends and members of “Camp Problem”.
Dave was born in Endicott, NY and was a graduate of Maine-Endwell Class of 1986 and inducted into the M-E Sports Hall of Fame. He was a NYS pole vaulting champion. After attending SUNY Morrisville and University at Buffalo, Dave was the founder and owner of Tri-County Auger & Pole Service.
An informal gathering to celebrate his life will be held by his family and friends on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 3:00-5:00 pm at The Riverdale Banquet Hall, 2901 Watson Blvd., Endwell, NY 13760.
In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been established for his son, Sam Toton. Donations in Dave’s memory may be made payable to the Toton Family Benefit Fund at NBT Bank, 2 North Main Street, P.O. Box 158, Newark Valley, NY 13811.
Dave lived life to the fullest. He worked hard and played hard.
