Carl "Butch" Lantz

Predeceased by his parents, Lillian (Ray) Lantz and stepdaughter, Amy Sturdevant. He is survived by his wife, Linda, daughter, Lisa (Rick) Boyce, stepdaughter, Tessie (John) King, brother, Donald (Patricia) Lantz, sister Patricia (Paul) Bock, father in law, Michael (Gail) Wade, sisters and brothers in law, Carol Ferguson (Doug Chidester), Susan (Bud) Meade, Katy (Mark) Goodrich, John (Wendy) Wade and Lewis Wade. His grandchildren, Lance, Beth and Ari Boyce, stepgrandchildren, John Jr. and Lydia King and Chaulyce Alston along with several nieces, nephews, many friends including lifelong friend Craig Gates and right hand man for many years Edwin Bachmurski and his favorite yard kitty Bertram Ray also survive him. Disability never hindered Butch; he accomplished what he wanted to do.  He was a successful business owner and especially loved his trucking business, enjoyed any kind of racing especially NASCAR.  He did it his way. He was truly the “King of The Hill”. Thank you to Hospice and aides Courtney, Lori Barton and a special thank you to Susan Meade. Your love, care and compassion was very much appreciated. Butch will be sorely missed; he was an inspiration to all who knew him. The family will receive friends at the Countryside Christian Chapel 32 Bull Creek Rd. Whitney Point, NY Tuesday Nov. 28, 2017 from 5-8 pm and Wednesday Nov. 29, 2017 from 9 am until service time at 10 am. Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
