Barbara R. Schaefer

Barbara R. Schaefer, of Lisle, New York, passed away on April 7, 2018.  She was predeceased by her husband Peter Schaefer in 2013. She is survived by her son, David 
(Joan) Schaefer; 3 daughters, Susan (Bill) Pfeil, Diane (Bill) Ritzenthaler, Linda (Allan) Reinemund; 7 grandchildren, Ben, Lee, Jess, Casey, Jake, Cole, Eric and one sister Judy Hughes.  She is also survived by several brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara was an active member of the Whitney Point United Methodist Church and volunteer for Meals on Wheels. The family will receive friends at Sunset Memorial Services 2659 Main St. Whitney Point, NY Thursday April 12, 2018 from 6-8 PM and Friday April 13, 2018 from 10AM until service time at 11AM. Burial will be in Lisle Cemetery. Donations in Barbara’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of James Shara.
