Anne "Nancy" L O'Neil

Anne “Nancy” Louisa O’Neil, 66, died peacefully at Wilson Hospital on February 18, 2021.  Nancy was predeceased by her parents Dr. Richard L. O’Neil and Anne L. O’Neil and her niece Kristen O’Neil.  She is survived by her siblings Richard L. O’Neil Jr. (Laura), Barry O’Neil (Deanne), Mary Patricia Connell (Dan), Brian O’Neil; her nieces and nephews Jessica O’Neil Cook, Kelly O’Neil Murphy, Richard O’Neil, Barry (Chip) O’Neil, Ian Connell, Bryan Connell; great nephews Mason Cook and Wesley Cook; and her long time best friends Christine and Donna.  Nancy was a 25-year employee and retiree of General Hospital.  Nancy loved animals and was a big supporter of animal rights organizations.  She also leaves behind her best furry friend Billy. 

The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at UHS ICU for the excellent and compassionate care Nancy was given.  Family will gather Observing COVID 19 Regulations at Sunset Memorial Services in Whitney Point on Tuesday, February 23, at 3:00 pm with a memorial service following at 3:30 pm.  In lieu of flowers, we know Nancy would love to know that donations were made to The Humane Society, Binghamton, NY.
