Alfred E. Thornton Jr.

Alfred E Thornton Jr, 75, passed away peacefully after a short illness on April 17, 2024, surrounded by his family. Alfred was predeceased by his parents, Alfred E Thornton Sr and Rolande Thornton. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Donna Thornton, his son Alfred Thornton III (Dorothy) and his daughter Catherine Kalka (Timothy), several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alfred is also survived by his brothers, Danny Thornton (Jean) and Jacque along with several nieces and nephews. The family wishes a special thank you to Lourdes Hospice for their compassion and care. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday April 30th at 11am at River Church 750 James Street Syracuse, NY.
