Stephen H. Zelsnack Jr.

Stephen H. Zelsnack Jr., 48, passed away peacefully December 21, 2018 at Upstate Medical University. He leaves behind a devoted wife, Lisa, his children: Justin (Danielle) Zelsnack and Stephanie (Nash) Kulina, his parents Stephen and Joyce Zelsnack Sr., sisters: Susan (Richard) Drake, Jennifer (Brian) Neff, Elizabeth (Greg) Clark and his brothers: James (Connie) Zelsnack, William Zelsnack, Timothy Zelsnack, Devin Zelsnack, and David Zelsnack along with a large extended family. Steve was a career firefighter at the Cortland Fire Department, but his first love was farming. He and his brother Jim bought the family farm this fall and that was where he was happiest. He was the nicest, friendliest person you would ever be lucky enough to meet. Always willing to lend a hand. The staff on 9F at Upstate Medical University was phenomenal, so in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Upstate Foundation Inc., 750 E.
