Donald R. Nemire

Donald R. Nemire, 90, of Lisle, NY was reunited with his family on Saturday, October 20, 2018.  He was predeceased by parents, Pearl (George) Nemire Sr., 16 siblings, as well as his Mother-in-Law Barbara Gehm,  and in-laws, John Gehm, and Julie Freymuth and Grandson Colton MacDonald.  He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jo Gehm-Nemire,  3 children, Marjorie Anne Gehm, Brandi (Brain) Sanford, Jo Anne (Roy MacDonald) Nemire, 12  grandchildren that he loved immensely, Cody Burlew, Benjamin Craft Jr, Kennith Craft, Victoria Hill, Barbara Craft, Tristen Quail, Skylar Hill, Dakota MacDonald, Natalie Brink, Morgan Pearl MacDonald, Hunter Sanford. father-in-law, James (Delores) Gehm, siblings-in-law, Novella Brown, Robin Sparnroff, Carol Anderson, Judy (Fred) Auditor, Michael (Christina) Gehm, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donald was an amazing Husband, loving and supportive Father and Grandfather. He would do anything to protect his family.  He was an avid Yankees Fan, A History and law Buff and was Very Pro American. Donald enjoyed telling stories of his life and past experiences. He was as honest as they come and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need unless you pissed him off or hurt his family, then he was fierce. Donald did not want anyone to weep over him but to remember the great memories that were made and to carry on with the life as if he were still here. Donald will be forever in our hearts and missed greatly by all.  Private services will be held at Donald’s request. A celebration of life will be held October 26, 2018 at 1 pm at the Center Lisle Diner for friends and family.
